LangoShoppers is a multi-vendor marketplace operating in Lira, Uganda. By registering as a customer or vendor, you agree to the following terms.

1. Customer Terms

By creating a customer account, you agree that:

  • You will provide accurate personal information (name, phone, email, address)
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • All orders are subject to product availability and vendor confirmation
  • Payment is made via Cash on Delivery — you pay when your order arrives
  • You will not misuse the platform for fraudulent orders

2. Vendor Terms

By registering as a vendor, you agree that:

  • Your account requires admin approval before you can start selling
  • You will provide accurate business information and product details
  • You are responsible for the quality and accuracy of your product listings
  • LangoShoppers charges a listing fee per product — details are provided in the vendor dashboard
  • LangoShoppers reserves the right to suspend vendor accounts for policy violations or customer complaints
  • Suspended vendors' products will be hidden from the marketplace until the account is reactivated
  • You will not list prohibited, counterfeit, or illegal products

3. Orders & Delivery

  • Delivery fees vary by zone and are displayed at checkout
  • Delivery times depend on vendor processing and rider availability
  • LangoShoppers is not liable for delays caused by vendors or external factors

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Pending orders — can be cancelled freely at no cost
  • Processing orders — can only be cancelled within 2 minutes of acceptance
  • Shipped / Delivered orders — cannot be cancelled

5. Returns & Refunds

No returns are accepted on delivered items. All products are sold as-is by individual vendors.

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • Wrong items delivered — contact us immediately with a photo
  • Missing items — report within 30 minutes of delivery
  • Quality issues — report within 30 minutes with photo evidence
Note: Refund requests after 30 minutes will not be considered. Delivery fees are non-refundable once a rider has been dispatched.

6. Data & Privacy

  • We collect only necessary data: name, email, phone, address, order history
  • Your password is encrypted and never stored in plain text
  • We do not sell your data to third parties
  • Delivery riders receive your name, phone, and address to complete deliveries
  • You can request account deletion at any time from this page

7. Account Suspension

LangoShoppers reserves the right to suspend or terminate any customer or vendor account that:

  • Violates these terms
  • Engages in fraudulent activity
  • Receives repeated complaints
  • Has outstanding policy violations (vendors)

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
